Consistency is King, BUT Everyone is Busy
So 90% of people are looking for some form of body re-composition which basically means they want to drop some body fat and/or gain some muscle. There are obviously a ton of variables that go into your overall health like sleep, stress management, keeping pain away, and having good gut health BUT two areas that massively move the dial everyone is trying to move are nutrition and exercise. Honestly a lot of different diets and workout programs are going to work, what is generally missing is staying consistent with it. So here is my incredible simple and effective advice. #1 Get a meal prep service with set calories per meal. #2 Do two full-body workouts and just rinse and repeat. Before you jump down to the comments let me hit on a couple of things you are going to say. #1 I don't think that the cost is REALLY that much. Break it down like this, the cost of a meal prep service is really only the additional money compared to what you would normally spend on groceries. Except you also spend TIME on making and going to get that food AND what's it costing you to be inconsistent and not reaching your goals for ... probably years if you are average! So tell me how much does it really cost to know your nutrition is 100% accounted for and you don't have to put any extra time or thought into being completely dialed in with your macros. PS If you really can't afford the extra meal prepping the same meals in the same quantity each week is like the poor man's version where you do have to trade a bit of time and effort but you will still know exactly what you are eating each week. Add variety in once you have got the basics dialed. #2 Yes it's boring, but it's also simple which makes it easy to progress. If you want you could also go upper and lower split. You will probably also have some small gaps in training but that's small compared to what you are going to get. Knowing the exercises, weight, reps, and sets is huge it allows you to progressively make the workout harder. So many people are changing up their workouts and looking for something exciting to keep them motivated. Just go in there rinse and repeat and you'll get motivated by seeing the weight go up and the body transformation happen by sticking to the same thing for a while!
