We use a dozen tools and services across the web, and more and more they're costing an arm and a leg. So we recently ventured into a world of self hosting stuff. I put together a Free Scout server, which we use for all our tickets. It's an open source version of Help Scout, which we tried using but at $200 a month we switched to Fresh Desk, which was a little lack luster if I'm honest. We're all really enjoying, it and it's absolutely the right move. @Andre van Rooyen also put a Rocket Chat server together for us, which is going to replace out Google Space and Slack ($300 a month). We start using that on Monday. We had a look at replacing Notion, but right now Notion is killer, and that's $100 I'm happy to spend.
