Experience
I never get these guys with 2,3 or even 4 years of experience making stuff I can. Are these numbers actually real? Are they just lying in their portfolio?

@Jackson Claybourn I have seen people put 5+ years of experience in their portfolio and have worse editing than me (I only got serious 1 or 2 months ago). I just dont see that flow and smoothness a editor with that kind of experience would have. I saw someone have the InfamousJJ intro with just presets put into it (I would say the original intro from the video is miles better). I do agree it is about your perspective and the community you're in. Nice to see different views on this topic, but it does come down to time spent on practice and training from the 2 answers I have gotten (yours included).
