@Tonya Mcgrew Hi Tonya, you are not alone, I'm dealing with guilt as well, I'm sorry you are feeling that way too. I lost my mother in February. Sending light and love your way. Hang in there. I've been praying a lot, I watch and listen to prayer videos on youtube every morning and affirmations. It helps at times. I pray for god to give us the strength to get through this. 🙏❤️

Are you anxious about the holidays?
Baby Jackson was born during the Christmas season. The first year after his loss I didn't celebrate. I didn't feel like being festive or happy. I wanted to be sad. In time, the Christmas season became special, because each day reminded me of his life and how blessed I was to have the time I had with him. What are your thoughts about the upcoming holiday season?

To be honest the way I'm feeling right now, I'm really not in a festive mood at all. This will be my first holidays without my mom. I have a couple of invitations, but I don't think I can be around people during this holiday season and be festive. Just thinking about it, it feels exhausting trying to act like everything is okay when I'm in pieces inside and sad. Right now, I'm playing it by ear. My sister would like for me to go to Florida for Christmas, but I don't think I can bring myself to go. Sometimes I feel like I don't know where I belong when I go out to gatherings with a lot of people. I feel out of place. 🙏
