Moving the platform
Hey Everyone. It's fantastic to see so many of you here and interested in AI. šŸ˜ We have been a bit silent in this group, as we have been working on building out a platform with a personalized user experience. We started this group on Skool, as it was a simple way to start. We want to create a smooth and easily accessible learning experience. With the content and structure we have, we thought it best to build it out ourselves. We would love to invite you to the new platform: https://promptengineer.net/communities/groups/prompt-engineering-community/home?invite=667aa47f6dfacf150a731e3c We understand it's a bit of a hassle changing platforms. Not much will change from your side when you join. There will be a space for conversation and plenty of lessons to go through on the topic of AI. We would love to have you there and if you're not into it, no hard feelings. šŸ¤— Keep creating and always remember to have fun. ā˜€ļø

Prompt Keywords or "Magic Words"?
I wasn't sure if I should have written this tutorial. People may misunderstand. But I've spent over almost $10K a month in API calls in the last 27 months, and I am committed to showing my findings no matter what. One of these are the concept of Prompt Keywords or "magic words". Some are obvious, but some not so much. What are these Prompt Keywords? šŸ’” Prompt keywords act like "magic words" that guide the language model towards specific paths within its knowledge graph. āš”ļø Prompt keywords are categorized into general/generic and specific types, each serving distinct purposes in improving the model's output quality. šŸ§¬ General keywords provide a broad framework, while specific keywords cater to particular domains or use cases. šŸŒ  Prompt keywords can highlight paths, skip steps, and provide contextual cues to steer the model towards less obvious but still valid connections. šŸ§  Prompt keywords can take various forms, including contextual enhancers, task-specific cues, polarity indicators, disambiguators, and more. šŸš€ The structure and length of the prompt can also act like magic words, influencing the model's behavior. https://promptengineering.org/what-are-prompt-keywords-or-magic-words/ Please review the article and let me know what you think! 0

I Created a Tool: Noterz.com
I wanted to share something really cool that I think you'll love ā€“ it's calledĀ Noterz.com. I built it and I'd like to share it with you guys for testing and suggestions. If you're anything like me, you probably spend a lot of time on YouTube trying to sift through all those videos to find the gems. Well,Ā Noterz.comĀ makes that whole process a breeze (at least so far for me). You just paste the URL of any YouTube videoĀ here, and youā€™ll get a detailed summary sent straight to your inbox. Itā€™s like having your own personal note-taker for all those tutorials, lectures, and how-to videos. No more wasting time on videos that aren't worth it, no more forgetting about something you heard in a video etc.Ā just search your email. Why Iā€™m hooked onĀ Noterz.com: āœ… Save time with quick video summaries. āœ… AI gives you surprising insights on news topics etc. become more interesting lol āœ… Organize your learning with a personal repository. āœ… No extra apps ā€“ just your trusty email. As a bonus, it posts the summaries and notes to the main website so you can browse videos and notes that might be interesting. It's still in development so be gentle with it. Feedback and suggestions are welcomed.

@Ganiu Ahmed As much as you want. We're still in the beta phase, working out the kinks and bottlenecks, but we've got some really cool features in the works that I think you'll love. These include - Step-by-Step Instructions and Workflows: Our new agents will break down videos into detailed, actionable steps. - Pattern Analysis: Theyā€™ll also analyze video patterns to give you deeper insights. - Knowledge Gap Filling: Our agents will find and fill knowledge gaps in the videos, giving you even more comprehensive information. These additions will make it even more powerful and useful. As always, Iā€™d love to hear your thoughts or any suggestions you might have.

@Nejc Susec Planning on this once I get through all the issues. It's a great marketing site and tool in one. The site has basically a newsletter backend. So once people use the tool they will be signed up for a daily newsletter for news, sports summaries and notes etc. I'm still working on cleaning up that section. All done with 0-code.
Weekly Prompt Engineering Challenge #1: Refine and Templatize a Brand Story Prompt
Prompt Engineers & AI Enthusiasts Let's do some prompt engineering this weekend. In the first instalment of our Weekly Prompt Engineering Challenges! This week, we're kicking things off with the following task: refine and templatize a prompt inspired by Kieran Flanagan's approach to writing a brand story in the style of Seth Godin. Challenge Details: We have a prompt that aims to encapsulate Seth Godin's unique style in crafting compelling brand stories. While the original prompt captures the essence well, it could benefit from clarity and a more structured template to enhance usability for both humans and AI systems. Your Task: Refine the original prompt to make it more clear, structured, and templatized. The goal is to create a template that can be easily tweaked for different brands or products, maintaining effectiveness and simplicity. 1. Clarity: Ensure the prompt is straightforward and easy to understand. 2. Structure: Organize the prompt into a clear, logical format that guides the AI and the user. 3. Templatization: Develop a format that allows easy modifications, such as changing the brand name, target audience, or key message, without reworking the entire prompt. 4. Output: Define the desired outcome of the prompt, specifying the format, tone, and style of the resulting brand story to ensure it aligns with Seth Godinā€™s narrative approach. Submission Guidelines: - Submit your refined prompt in this thread. - Include a brief explanation of how your version improves on the original in terms of clarity, structure, templatization, and output. - We'll close off and review submissions next Thursday! Excited to see how you transform this prompt into a versatile tool for storytelling. Let's start Here is the Original Prompt: The following is inspired by Seth Godinā€™s timeless approach to storytelling. It will take a product name and create a timeless story for it. <Task>Create a brand story for a product the user submits following Seth Godinā€™s approach to brand storytelling with four clear sections - ā€˜setting the sceneā€™, ā€˜introducing the challenge', ā€˜overcoming obstaclesā€™, and finally ā€˜the transformationā€™.

Solution #1 This prompt captures the essential bits and produces perfectly good output. I would use this with scenarios involving automation/agents. Or if you want to generate tons of ideas and so on.

Solution #2 This version includes more sophisticated elements of prompt engineering, like Symboscript and functional inference synthesis, leading to richer, more nuanced outputs. I decided to omit the table this time as it didnā€™t seem essential. This approach is particularly useful when precision, language specificity, and uniqueness are key factors. Eager to see what everyone else has developed..
Weekly Prompt Engineering Challenge #2: Reverse-Engineer a Successful Facebook Ad
Happy Monday Prompt Engineers! Itā€™s time for this weekā€™s challenge. This one is about dissecting and understanding the mechanics behind successful Facebook advertising. Challenge Overview: We've all seen Facebook ads that seem to know exactly what we want. This week, your task is to pick a Facebook ad that convinced you to make a purchase. Analyze why it was effective and then develop a prompt template and recipe that could be used to recreate similar ads for different products or services. How to Participate: 1. Select an Ad: Choose a Facebook ad that recently led you to make a purchase. It could be anythingā€”from gadgets and clothing to subscriptions and services. 2. Analysis: Briefly explain what elements of the ad captured your attention and persuaded you to buy. Was it the imagery, the copy, the offer, or a combination of these elements? 3. Develop a Prompt: Based on your analysis, create a detailed prompt that could guide an AI in generating similar ads. Your prompt should specify the tone, style, key messages, and any other important elements that should be featured in the ad. Objectives: - Understanding Consumer Psychology: Gain insights into what makes an ad compelling. - Creativity in Prompt Engineering: Apply your findings to create a versatile and effective prompt. - Application of AI in Marketing: Explore how AI can be utilized to replicate successful marketing strategies. Submission Details: Please submit your analysis and prompt in this thread. Why This Challenge? This exercise will help you understand key advertising strategies and how to implement these strategies in AI-driven marketing tools. It's a practical way to enhance your skills in both marketing and AI. Looking forward to your submissions!
