It’s the first meeting back for my community choir after the Summer break tonight. None of them will have done any singing over the holidays, so what is your go to, ‘need to get back into it’ vocal or breathing exercise to start things off?
I’ll start… Personally, I love a breathing control exercise - current favourite is imagining a candle in front of your mouth, and controlling exhalation to make it flicker, but not blow out, over the whole breath.
