Hey guys! It's a public holiday here in Thailand and it's our official Thai Mother's day celebration. Why is it today? Well the previous Queen's birthday was on this date, hence it has been used as a national holiday since. Through the reign of the previous King and Queen of Thailand - though some may find reasons to highlight issues - Thailand was at peace. We received the highest economic growth in the prior 50 years during King Rama the 9th's reign. It was also when my dad and many other great entrepreneurs rose. My point in sharing this with you guys is not to talk politics but to discuss the topic of Legacy. You see, when your name, your reputation, your works live on much longer after your passing....that's when you truly know that you've created a positive impact on the world. I'm like all of you, i want short-term rewards too! Seeing all of you engage here, like, comment on my social media posts bring me joy. However, we also have to remind ourselves that public praise is great and its important for many to continue to push. We don't have to wait around for the applause of the public. Many of the King's greatest works were never really published until His passing. Many of the projects, most of the public didn't even know about. Many projects that have kept Thailand safe up till today. Thinking questions for you: 1. How could all of us create a positive impact in our world today? 2. What is one thing you remember about someone who made a positive impact in your life? What was it about that incident that made you remember? 3. Who is someone that you love dearly but haven't had the time or opportunity to reach out for a long time? Reach out to that person. That's it for today.
