Movies & TV Show Recommendations
Hey everyone! As many of you know, watching movies and shows in English can be an excellent way to improve your skills while being entertained. Whether it's a comedy, drama, documentary, or whatever else you enjoy - these forms of media are highly effective when learning a new language. So with that being said, put some of your favourite movies or shows in the comments below and tell us why you like them and how they've helped you on your English learning journey. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! All my best, Teacher Dave

Right now I am watching Mr. Robot and I am loving it. I am a big fan of Peaky blinders. understanding the different accents of the actors can be a struggle sometimes!

@David De' Ath Yeah for sure - everyone from a different country has a different accent and there are so many countries out there!
Introduction๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ
Hello guys, my name is Muzammil Sheikh from India. I'm dead serious about becoming fluent in English. I have several reasons, but I'm going to give you the most important one: making money. The problem I'm facing is that I need a partner to improve my speaking skills, generally conversational skills in English, and also help others and share my journey of what I learned to help new English journeys and learners. @Khoshy Edris Yes and I believe we can never judge someone's intentions by their communication styles. Only time can tell us that. Someone who might seem crude at first might be helping us in some way and someone who we might think is polite might be harmful for us in the long run. What do you think?

@Khoshy Edris Yeah exactly. I learned this the hard way when I moved to Canada and the communication style of people here is so different then birth country. I often thought people are just cold here but then they do things that ouch me deeply. Where do you live and how is the communication style there?

DO YOU KNOW?๐Ÿค”
HOW WILL YOU ANSWER FOR THIS QUESTION? Did they go to the movies last night? 1)Yes, they are. 2)Yes, they were. 3)Yes, they did. Which answer is correct and why?

the 3rd one is correct. There are many explanations for this. But Iโ€™ll give you 1 - they are would mean they are doing something in the present. However they watched the movie in the past ! So it will be โ€œthey did โ€œ.
