SerpAPI in a workflow - does it work?
Anyone having success with using a SerpAPI as a tool for an AI Agent? When I use it, either the AI Agent doesn't use it for the question in chat, the AI Agent ignores the result from SerpAPI, or the result is bad or not useable. I have use cases where I want to use Google search results as part of a longer workflow. But so far, I can't get anything useable from SerpAPI. A related question: Can you "force" an AI Agent node to use the attached tools? (Perhaps in the system prompt.)

Thanks @Kyle Nicol for your reply. I went ahead and played with it some more and added an instruction to the agent that it should use SerpApi. I got better results. I asked the same question in the n8n forum and got a reply with the sample prompt: You are a helpful AI assistant. Always use the SERP API tool connected to you to answer the user’s query. Do not provide information based on assumptions or hallucinations; it is your responsibility to rely on the SERP API for accurate and real-time information. Whenever a user asks something, make sure to use the SERP API to retrieve the most relevant and up-to-date details. I suspect it would work even better with this prompt. I am new to n8n. Coming from make.com. While n8n is similar, it is much more powerful which comes with a learning curve. Been at it 2 days now...😀

AI Agent Prompting - Entire prompt in System Message???
The AI Agent prompting video was very helpful. Thanks for putting it out there. I'm coming from Make so I want to ensure I understand where to put the prompt. In the Make.com openAI modules, you can add system, user, and assistant messages. (Make.com doesn't have the equivalent of an AI Agent node.) From what I see, the n8n AI Agent node only has a system message. So, do you put the entire prompt (e.g. a long structured framework prompt) into the system message?
