Skool Help
OK, I think Iā€™m getting stuck or might be over complicating it but my niche or the thing that I enjoy talking about the most is computer programming. I have a YouTube channel called Case Digital where I teach people how to program with an emphasis in the python programming language. However, that is very much helping people solve their problems and I focus on a lot of beginner stuff. Iā€™ve been thinking about creating this school community to help people solve their problems but then trying to figure out how I would monetize this because what I put on YouTube are the answers to peoples questions like ā€œhow to remove a character from a string in python?ā€ Would it be best to create a free community that continues to do what Iā€™m doing but then have paid links to do one on one calls and then eventually create a paid community where we combine the knowledge from the beginner stuff to build projects that I or the community come up with? I asked this question before about whatā€™s the difference between the free and paid communities in another group and a person gave a great response that I believe was something like the free is more like the what you do and the paid is more of how. So would it be safe to say that maybe in the programming that the free would be more of the simplistic ā€œhow do you do small thingsā€ and the paid would be more of how you do like a project? I guess Iā€™m just not sure about creating a paid community that has a lot of the simplistic how to questions when im already putting them on YouTube for free if that makes sense. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated!

@Marianne Hickman from this my free is basically my YouTube channel Low ticket would be a paid community like $29 mrr High ticket would be my one on ones. Yea if you could tag me in that post that would be awesome. Otherwise Iā€™ll try and hunt it down
Next Milestones
I feel like I have two next milestones. 1) Get monetized on YouTube. (Need about 1k more hours of watch time. I have the subscribers) 2) Build my SasS up to and MRR of 6K

@Marianne Hickman well thatā€™s cool I didnā€™t know they did that. Maybe mine is more of a specific niche then. I work with a franchise and a small business that use different accounting software and my thing helps automatically input into their stuff.

@Marianne Hickman itā€™s probably similar to a lot of those that are out there. I just know for now it is probably the only one that interfaces with the franchise I work with since their system is a little old.

@Marianne Hickman well I have written some scripts extract all stores of this franchise, so about 2000 stores. However all of them donā€™t have operators that could use it to my knowledge but that is only like a small percentage. So I just need to do the work. However sometimes I have noticed no response is given and not sure if itā€™s cuz it goes to spam or They just donā€™t respond

ChatGPT- for text based content generation and images (if you get the paid version) Midjourney - for image generation

@Paris Cluff yea you should be able to use the paid ai image generator that they have. I havenā€™t used that a ton so Iā€™m not sure how it compares to things like midjourney or ChatGPTs dalle
Heres the Formula ā€¼ļøšŸ‘‡
1. Use AI to write an e-book or a guide for your industry. 2. Speak about your industry on Podcasts. I have a ton of free resources that give you podcasts looking for speakers. 3. Give your e-book to everyone on the podcast and exchange their email and phone number. Boom. Now you have a customer base that you didnā€™t even have to build. šŸ“ˆ Latice joined my daily accountability call just this week and is now posting consistently on her social media and is working on getting her e-book put together. Darrell is on chapter 3 of his book right now, and he just got started last week. weā€™ve got a group of amazing individuals who jump on every morning for 15 minutes, cheer each other on, and get the work DONE āœ… Or just take this recipe and run with it. Iā€™m cheering you on. šŸ“£šŸ„‚

@Marianne Hickman is there a template that you follow when creating your guide books? Or prompts you use with ChatGPT? I started down this for programming and it started to turn more into a textbook haha
