The art of deception as a WR (mini lesson)
Some of the best Receivers have one thing in common.
After studying tons of the best receivers, one overlooked trait always stood out to me.
It’s not speed or physicality.
But deception.
The psychology within the route is what gets you open.
Think of it, why was Jerry Rice able to easily get open on almost every snap?
He was slow for a wide receiver & was not the biggest by any means…
So what was it?
It’s because he understood deception.
He then combined it with a rock solid foundation.
Solid Foundation + a master of deception = A lethal WR.
