Don't insult me: but what about Grid Systems?
It's so inspiring when a new community platform launches that it makes you want to throw all your ideas into the room and hope for helpful responses. I'll hold off on that, but there's another topic (besides the one I've already posted) that I'd love to get a response on from the community:
Grid trading systems
I know many will immediately say, "Just stay away from that. That's the devil's stuff!
Is it? Almost all systems that have a wide name recognition are based on a grid algorithm. We all know that grid systems - when the market runs massively against you - incur massive losses. But does it have to be like that? Is it not possible - by analyzing e.g. the current market phase exactly - to determine when a grid system should be used and when it is better to switch it off again? Or - to open an additional field - could artificial intelligence perhaps help us to turn grid systems into "harmless" systems that constantly generate profits without the disadvantage of massive drawdowns?
Who of you has already programmed grid systems and would like to participate in this discussion?
