Welcome! I created Dad Outdoors for men who want to want to use nature as a catalyst, setting, and tool for creating deep bonds with their families.
If you're a dad and love the outdoors (or want to learn to), this community is for you!
Our slogan is "DO your day!" and it has at least two meanings:
1) The meaning captured in this quote by William George Jordan (it's also my personal motto): "I will do each day, in every moment, the best I can by the light I have; I will ever seek more light, more perfect illumination of the truth, and ever live as best I can in harmony with the truth as I see it."
2) DO obviously stands for Dad Outdoors, and the slogan is a reminder to us of the importance of our responsibilities as fathers, and to get outside with our families.
