Introductions
Hi All. Excited to see what this skool has to offer. We just bought a ranch in Oklahoma and inherited a couple of beehives. Our education about bees and what it takes to care for them is next to nothing so please feel free to give (constructive please) advice and excuse any simple questions I may ask. :-)

Queen cells in my Hive
hello every one, I am first year new bee keeper, yesterday in my inspection, I saw a queen cell at the bottom of the frame that is capped and another one in about the middle of the frame that is still open but I can see a large larvae in it and bees where attending to it, not sure if the photos I have uploaded will be visible correctly, but here is my questions, does that mean my bees have swarmed or about to swarm, also that capped queen cell , how long for it for the queen to come out and is it still time for it to be mated and start laying for winter bees, or should I just buy a queen
