Hello everyone, I wanted to apologize for my absence; I've been addressing some personal mental health challenges. Last weekend was particularly difficult as I encountered some distressing news, which necessitated a break from everything to process the events. Simultaneously, I've been working and supporting two teenagers who are also grappling with their own tough news. Managing my mental health is daunting enough, but assisting teenagers with theirs adds an extra layer of complexity. So my question to you is? What do you like to do to get your mind at a state of calm

🌱 Taking Time and Space for Your Mental Health 🌱
Hey, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to talk about something really important: prioritizing our mental health. We often find ourselves caught up in the rush of everyday life—balancing work, relationships, responsibilities, and all the things that come with just getting by. But it’s so easy to forget that, just like our bodies, our minds need rest, care, and space to function at their best. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your mental health is to take a step back. 🧘‍♀️ Whether it's taking a break from social media, setting boundaries, or simply saying "no" to things that drain you, giving yourself permission to pause can make all the difference. It's okay to not have everything figured out. It's okay to take a day off, to rest, to slow down. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. When we take time for ourselves, we're better able to show up for the people and things that matter most. So here’s a gentle reminder: You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to prioritize your mental health. You are allowed to create space for yourself. What helps you recharge when you’re feeling overwhelmed? Let’s support each other by sharing ideas and encouragement! 💬 Drop a comment below if you're in need of support or just want to share how you practice self-care. We’re all in this together. 💛 #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCare #RestIsRevolutionary #CommunitySupport
