Portertown Scouts are having a table quiz Wednesday 29th May in the Clonsilla Inn from 7.30pm for anyone around the Dublin area. We are also running a raffle with some amazing prizes. Tickets are 5 euro or 3 for 10. If you would like tickets just leave me a message.

250 + New Videos - and this time the parents can benefit too! Brilliant Scouting was set up just over 6 months ago to help all of us with ideas for scouting, and to prove the value of online content. I see people logging in and using the ideas regularly and I wanted to build this to be something more. I've been paying to maintain the site personally since it started, and it's time to turn it into something that is more sustainable - and raise some money for a great cause! Here's what we're doing: - We have added 5 new categories that will be hugely valuable to parents as well as scouters. They are packed with ideas for different age groups - There are many ideas in there that will be useful for your programme, but also for keeping kids active, entertained and learning outdoors outside of scouting - The original 300 members will continue to have access for free, but now we have set up a nominal charge of $1 per month to cover the cost of the platform. - Once the costs of the site are covered, all the profits are going to go into the fund to help build a scout den for my local group in Dublin 15. How you can help: First - check out the new content - we have more than tripled the number of amazing videos on the site. All collated with the help of my Sister Helen and My Brother Creag.
