Here is where I have the most fun. Over the years working with various clients I have discovered, I am the product. Regardless of the price of an item or service 9 out of 10 times the client buys you. Now I'm not talking about being a BS car salesman. Just being yourself. Having a casual conversation and not immediately throwing a bunch of financial garbage at them but just talking. Remembering things from a previous conversation like a vacation they took, a new home, kids graduation or whatever clients love this. The icebreaker as I call it is your gateway into talking about numbers because they have already bought you because they like what they see. My wife likes to tell me I talk to much especially when it comes to my home state of Texas. I've learned some clients love this and makes you seem more human instead of someone just looking for a commission plus I just like meeting new and interesting people.
