Cost to clients...
Here is where I have the most fun. Over the years working with various clients I have discovered, I am the product. Regardless of the price of an item or service 9 out of 10 times the client buys you. Now I'm not talking about being a BS car salesman. Just being yourself. Having a casual conversation and not immediately throwing a bunch of financial garbage at them but just talking. Remembering things from a previous conversation like a vacation they took, a new home, kids graduation or whatever clients love this. The icebreaker as I call it is your gateway into talking about numbers because they have already bought you because they like what they see. My wife likes to tell me I talk to much especially when it comes to my home state of Texas. I've learned some clients love this and makes you seem more human instead of someone just looking for a commission plus I just like meeting new and interesting people. Just something else I wanted to share with the group. See y'all at the top.

Time is Time
Hey there group. I just wanted to share something with everyone that I was reading about and it got me thinking. Do I really have time to learn and build a business? Simple answer is YES. A little about me, I am married have grown children, a disabled wife, children with disabilities and constantly on the move 24/7. No, I am not looking for sympathy or anything like that. I just want to give an example of my daily life including weekends. ALWAYS BUSY! That being said, do I really have the time to build my business? First is self evaluation, I have more time than one might think. I usually get up 5 to 6 in the morning. I make coffee, turn on the news and sit idle for an hour or two. What can be done with that time. I can take time to learn the business, respond to emails, build my online presence and more. Do you drop your kids off at school? Well then you have another 5 to 10 minutes to make calls or email. Doctor's appointments, well we know what waiting there is like. You have another 10 or 20 minutes before being seen. At night when you just want to chill and watch TV, well how much time is that? You get the drift...you have more time than you think. It is just a matter of how you utilize that time and then you will see results. It took me awhile to realize that myself but over time it really does pay off by reviewing what time you really do have. Stay focused my friends and it will happen. Just some insight I wanted to share.

Keep Your Eyes on the Prize...
Being a REAL loan consultant/broker is probably the most rewarding challenge you may ever face. What I like about Brian's approach is the brutal honesty he delivers in his education. I have been in the industry a very long time and have experience but still struggle, especially generating leads. I have also been lured by so called gurus promising me a system that will deliver ONLY if I payout $2 or $3k and my firstborn child. Honestly, do your due diligence. Get the facts and become aware of who and how you work with. Get active on this platform, ask the questions and gain the knowledge. So far what I am seeing is way more than what the other guys offer. I'm still on a journey of excellence and build a legacy for my wife and kids. Stay focused and I'll meet you at the top.
