Sorry for a long post 🙂🍿
Several years ago, I applied for mentorship from a life coach who is well-known today. He was well-known back then, too. So we scheduled a call, and at a scheduled time, one of his associates called me.
By the way, the price for training was around $3k, discounted.
During the call with his associate, I realized that all they wanted from me was money. He was literally pushing me to borrow the amount as I told him the price was a bit too high. He even suggested selling something so I could get the money. I'm not gonna go into details, but he was desperately trying to convince me to find the money somehow for a good 20 minutes or so.
Of course, I gave up on the offer.
The program they offered is good, and I would definitely gain valuable knowledge, motivation, or whatnot.
What made me give up was his approach, motivated only by the money he could get from me.
My point is, no matter the price, you are asking for your knowledge. Let people know you care. People want to know they are valued for being present and that you care not only for their money but also for the value they will get from what you offer.
That is my approach to whatever I am doing and to every community/group I have created with my team in the last several years.
