A big thing we talked about at the mastermind yesterday was how onboarding your new members creates a higher LTV (lifetime value)
Here is a strategy that uses everything I learned about onboarding at the 1-day event that I'm going to implement in all of my communities
- don't have someone comment on a START HERE post that no one reads have them create an individual post having the person introduce themself and tell the community about why they joined
This is great because this person's post will get way more engagement from your community on an individual post than a comment
It adds a sense of welcome and belonging
2. Have them download the APP ASAP
The more that your customers spend time on the app the longer they will keep paying
3. Onboarding call
this is by far the most important step you need to be seeing your customers face to face within a couple of days
Do this even if your community is free it's perfect practice for when you make a paid group
BONUS -
Add a cancellation video and DM all churning members
this was a feature that was added a couple of weeks ago
Alex Hormozi said that on average. a community that has a cancellation video sees a 7% decrease in churn
