What I’ve Learned on My Journey to GOAT Status in 5 Days
Last Sunday, I set out to achieve GOAT status on Skool, starting with 1,500 points to go. Today, I’m just 200 points away. I wanted to share some of the key insights I’ve gained during this focused sprint:
1. Focused Engagement is Everything
When I began this journey, I knew that every interaction needed to count. I set specific times for focused engagement, dedicating 60-minute sprints to deep, meaningful conversations. This approach not only maximized my points but also led to genuine connections with people who align with my mission.
2. Intention Over Activity
It’s not about how many comments you make but the quality of those interactions. I’ve found that setting clear intentions before engaging—whether it’s to connect with potential clients, collaborate with like-minded peers, or share insights—leads to much more productive and rewarding conversations. Every post and comment was crafted with a purpose, and that’s made all the difference.
3. The Power of Building Momentum
Momentum is real. In the first few days, I noticed that the more value I provided, the more people engaged with my posts and comments, creating a ripple effect. This momentum carried over even when I wasn’t actively on the platform, with people continuing to engage with content I had posted hours earlier.
4. Community Over Competition
Skool is a unique platform where collaboration often outweighs competition. By focusing on building relationships rather than just chasing points, I’ve been able to connect with people who share similar goals and values. This community-driven approach has not only helped me get closer to GOAT status but has also opened doors to potential collaborations and deeper connections.
5. Consistency is Key
Consistency has been the backbone of this journey. Whether it’s showing up daily to engage with the community or sharing valuable insights regularly, staying consistent has kept me on track and steadily progressing towards my goal. It’s a reminder that in both business and life, showing up consistently is half the battle.
As I approach the final stretch, I’m even more motivated to keep this momentum going. The pursuit of GOAT status has reinforced that success on Skool isn’t just about points—it’s about the relationships you build, the value you provide, and the consistency with which you show up.
If you’re on a similar journey, I’d love to hear what’s been working for you. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue to learn from each other’s experiences!
