Finance meetings w/significant other

I asked this question in our group IG channel, but I was curious if you have finance meetings with Rachel? If so, what do you talk about? What’s the frequency? How do you tell your spouse we need to stop spending money on dumb shit so we can be better for our future?

This is the one Dave Ramsey approach that I’ve always wanted to do with my wife. We’ve had them in the past but they just seem to go in one ear and out the other. I have an excel template that I use to track all money going in and out that I do with every pay check. I’m trying to find an app to help automate some of this, but I also enjoy the nerdery behind doing it manually. I just signed up for an app called monarch. Testing it out and can report back later how I like it.
