Crypto App Styling Help

Hey guys! I'm having lots of fun implementing the crypto app and I have thought of some questions to ask those who are either currently working on the crypto app or have already completed it.

1) Where can I get the hex values for the colors used in the app or do I have to use a color picker to get the values from the figma images?

2) How did you apply the colors to the components? Did you hardcode the color directly to the component like so: <div className="bg-[#42428b]">Foo</div> or did you add the color to the tailwind.config file and called the color a name?
