Nothing learns well when in pain or fear and besides, that just didn't sit right. Maree went back to the training she developed as a child where the animals would always focus on her and understand what she was expecting from them. ‘Treat training’ never made sense to her, she never used it and the animals would still do anything for her. Maree has done several dog training courses over the years and is always looking at what is happening in the world of dog training. Maree found what worked with her beliefs and her caring nature. ‘It is all about going back to nature, understanding your dog, using love and praise’. Over the past 27 years of training, some things have changed, and Maree is always open to learning new things, however the core of the ‘respect training’ has stayed the same. Dog training is more than a job, it is a passion and, as Maree will tell you, it is who she is.
