Step 1: Create a New Post and Introduce yourself!
Everyone has their own unique reason for joining usโ€ฆ Maybe it's to learn from expert educators, connect with like-minded edupreneurs, or gain insights from top-level interviews. Whatever brought you here, weโ€™re thrilled to have you! But hereโ€™s the keyโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽฏ The REAL value of this community comes in the CONNECTIONS youโ€™ll make here. If you havenโ€™t introduced yourself yet, youโ€™re missing out on an incredible chance to connect with passionate educators, share your teaching experiences, and collaborate with others who are just as driven as you. Take a moment to introduce yourself ๐Ÿฅ‚ by creating a NEW Post after this: 1. Who are you and where do you teach? 2. Whatโ€™s your current role in education or your entrepreneurial goals? 3. What are you hoping to learn or achieve by joining this community? By sharing your introduction, youโ€™ll spark conversations, build lasting relationships, and inspire others in the group. Together, we can learn from each otherโ€™s successes, ideas, and experiences! โœจThis will ONLY TAKE 2 MINUTES :) Becoming a part of the community... I am truly grateful for YOU

Educators need to be marketers as well? [Friday Coffee Corner]
Just had an amazing interview with Dr. Anthony Metivier, a University Professor, TEDx Talk Speaker, and Best-selling Author. And here are some of the best insight I get form him: - If you want your students to read, share your excitement about books so that even the most skeptical students wanted to at least check out why you were so interested in something. - Good teaching involves a bit or marketing, it is almost as if you are โ€œsellingโ€ the work that goes into it. - Niche down and focus on smaller units of interest. I believe educators are not just people who teach, but some form of marketers as well, we need to "sell" our ideas to our students.

Education as your second career? [Friday Coffee Corner]
This week have been BUSY, I got sick, rushing on the backlog of emails...being an entrepreneur and educator is really hard. But the good news is, I've just had an inspiring conversation with Shani Chen, Ed.D.โ€”an educator who transitioned into teaching as a second career and is now a College & Career Readiness Coach! Her journey is a reminder that our paths donโ€™t always go as planned, but sometimes thatโ€™s where the magic happens. Hereโ€™s what stood out: ๐Ÿ”„ Embrace the Pivot: Donโ€™t be afraid to change directions if something feels off. Shani moved from elementary to high school teachingโ€”and found her true calling. โœจ Protect Their Minds: Teen brains are still developing! Shani reminded us to create a safe space so they can grow and thrive. โค๏ธ Love What You Do: Your students will feel it. If youโ€™re passionate, theyโ€™ll be too! Question for you: What pivotal moments or shifts have shaped your journey in education? Share your story belowโ€”weโ€™d love to hear it! ๐Ÿ‘‡ #Educators #CareerPivot #Inspiration #TeachngCommunity
