Who Are Energy Reductionists?
There are many energy saving strategies and they come in all shapes, sizes, and packages.
Energy Reductionists are tired of wasteful energy practices and want practical steps to lower their electric bill 10-20% or more with relatively little effort. A bit of behavioral change can go a LONG way without sacrificing comfort!
Post your most recent experience either in research or practice regarding reducing energy in your home! What questions do you have?
Personally - Im in TX and live in a Yurt in a forest with a tipi and some other structures that we are going to rent out. We are working to seal the building envelope in the yurt so when we run the AC the cool air doesn't escape out so much. I just used a few cans of Great Stuff Spray foam from Home Depot for like $12 and was able to air seal the bottom of the yurt ☃️ Now the AC unit doesn't run near as much!
