Obtaining ITIN remotely?
What is the most accessible and economical way to obtain an ITIN as a foreigner and non-US resident?
James has a video course about it, but I hesitate to send something directly to the IRS. I know their responses do not exist, and the waiting time of 3 months in a successful scenario is already too much. I am afraid that I will wait another 3 months if there is a mistake, or even worse, no reply at all even after 3 months and I have to repeat the process again.
Do you know a certified IRS agent who can verify online without physical presence?
