Hoo yeah, Level 5! Who's with me?

Really struggling with motivation at the moment. The band I was in split around summer and just can't get back to playing 😞

Exploring the skool website, anytime I see guitar stuff I definitely have to check out. Have been playing/learning since about '78 on and off. Finally got free from an energy draining relationship 4 years ago and started playing again. Will definitely check out the youtube channel too. Recently got into an all female old lady band. Funny to wait this long to do it. I guess better late than never!😆

Originally I mentioned being in this show group. So, they declared me their lead guitarist, which blew my mind, but, I usually play rhythm and fool around with a few things I've learned over the years. I have about 12 songs to learn. But, there are probably at least 3 songs I just don't even like. My mind keeps putting off learning these songs. I know some of you have to have been in a band situation and had a learning block of some sort. How did you get past it? Just so you know, I really didn't start playing in hopes to be on stage playing at all, although it was in the back of my mind, it was just that basically all my friends in the 80s played and they taught me...thanks in advance for any advice you can share.
