Here's why you don't need a Teaching Degree
One of the biggest misconceptions about homeschooling is that you need to have formal training or a teaching degree to do it well. That’s simply not true. 🚫
Critics often approach education with a fixed mindset—believing learning only happens when someone is actively teaching. But homeschooling thrives when parents embrace a growth mindset and lead by example as lifelong learners. 🌱
When you learn alongside your children, you not only strengthen your bond but also teach them the most valuable skill of all: how to learn. The goal isn’t to teach kids what to think, but to help them discover how to think and grow independently.
If this resonates with you, we can help! The Homeschool Mastery Group is here to guide you in becoming a confident, lifelong learner and crafting a home education program tailored to your family’s unique needs.
Teaching Degree programs will only try to force you into the box of traditional education, and for homeschoolers this can inhibit their ability to take advantage home education offers.
Instead, I recommend you head to the Classroom and check out our Foundations Course.
This will help you get really clear on the values of your family, and teach you to implement those values into the homeschool program you design for your family.
