I think one of my most powerful mindset shifts I had in the last 2 years was simply, being directionally right is right.
It's not about being perfect, it's about moving in the right direction. If you do that long enough then success is just a matter of time.
I have a few examples but an easy one to understand is diet. I eat 80% protein, 10% carbs, 10% veggies/fruit, almost 0% sugar. If I end up eating some cookies my daughter baked or I have some McDonald's my wife brings home I'm not a failure. It's just a pivot and I know that if I just keep my diet and exercise in mind and limit those pivots from the right direction then I'm on the right path.
Directionally right!
