You're now part of a community where resilience isn't just a concept—it's a way of life. Over the past 30 years, I've dedicated myself to wellness, and the past 8 years of living with Motor Neurone Disease has only deepened my understanding of what it truly means to be resilient. In this community, we celebrate each other's victories, no matter how big or small, and support each other through the tough times. We're all here to grow, push boundaries, and discover new depths of our strength together. Ready to dive in? Here’s your first step to becoming an active part of this community: - Introduce yourself below! Some Fitness Tips!
I have been having some conversations with clients in the last week. I will share with you some of the questions they asked, it may help everyone! First, it's ok if you want to lose ten or more kg, but you have to ask yourself when was I last this weight? it is important to set realistic, achievable goals. Start with five kg, over a period of few months. Gradually is best so you can keep it off forever. Second, it is great to focus on what you are losing weight for? Having a special outfit, event such as a wedding, birthday or similar is great to focus on. just saying you want to lose weight is very difficult. Third, nutrition! All of my clients who follow my program I tell them two things, stop eating sugar, and soft drink, milk in large quantities, and you will immediately lose weight. No diets, no fasting, just do this to start! You will find more information in the classroom here, a food plan resource and how to lose Visceral fat. Be sure to check them out! Fourth, exercise! Don't join gym if you hate the gym! You are wasting your money and time. Unfortunately unless you have a great personal trainer, who can show you everything and use proper technique, many beginners wander around aimlessly. you are better off recording your steps and get moving. There are many good apps on your phone to use or get a device you can wear, fitbit, apple watch or similar. There are many on the market which may suit, depending on your budget. The key is to keep accountable to something or someone. Find a friend to support you Feel free to comment or suggestions you may have that have helped you achieve your goals!
