This is (my version of) the graph which immediately made me start thinking seriously about training with longevity in mind. Most people don't realise what's coming until it's too late, but if you're reading this, you do realise, and you're doing something about it. Friday HIIT Session (Back on the bike) 🥵
Today is HIIT day for me. I went back to my trusty Assault Bike. Love and hate that thing at the same time. It's so easy to get a HIIT session in. Today I did... 2 mins warmup (just getting things moving) then... 2 mins work 2 mins rest x8 35 mins total. First half of work splits I maintained 60 rpm Last half I still maintained 55 rpm. Not bad for me. The VO2 Max continues to rise. Zone 2 tomorrow 🙌 What cardio have you done recently?? 👇
