What are some weird quirks you noticed while learning guitar?

So... I just realized that I can play barre chords just fine, but for some reason Bm is just not working for me. Yet I have heard that Bm should be one of the easier ones to learn.

Also... I find 6/8 time so much easier to play than 4/4. Not sure if that is a common thing or if I am just more of 6/8th type of guy.

What are some things that turned out to be easier / different from the norm for you when you learned to play the guitar?
