Quick update
Hope everyone’s been practicing hard and vibing! I’ve been bed ridden sick for the past two weeks and hopefully next week we start recovering. I planned on jumping into the next feedback system right away but life is outplaying me atm. If I get better by early this week we’ll be doing our first feedback session on Saturday Nov 30th 7am AEST in the new zoom format :) Start of January I’ll be putting in a full time schedule into streaming, content and this community and we’ll have a good 3 months till my event schedule cranks up again. Missing jamming for y’all! Hopefully I’m back to at least 50% this week.

I hate that man! Hope you feel better soon!
Truly the craziest thing happened
I’m at a work offsite with 25 colleagues. We’re at a hotel in the mountains of Serbia and a freak snowstorm hit. Our evening event included a live band but only the drummer and bass player made it up the mountain. The other half of the band got stranded along the way. The hotel has an electric piano in the lobby so I offered to play the piano and sing. We ended up playing a full set of 12 songs. My coworkers joined in on a bunch of them. I am not really at a performing level with my piano so I leaned on the vocals and just tried to focus on the rhythm with the piano. My coworkers were super impressed (and seemed to enjoy it) and I had a blast. Here’s a brief clip. People joined in singing (approx 15 seconds into video)

That’s amazing man! Super impressed that you were brave enough to play the piano in front of them, but it sounded great and the vocals were locked in as always. It’s looking like we’re about to get some snow in the mountains tomorrow! Truly the best time of the year. Did your coworkers knew you sang and played?

Aint no sunshine before audition
Hey guys, been kind of unactive in the community lately but I’m back. Today we were rehearsing my performance for the Berklee audition which is this Saturday. Was hoping to get some feedback on the performance and if you have any suggestions, I will take them into account.

Week 3 Review
So, a lot of stuff is going on in my life right now, my “adoptive grandpa” passed away yesterday, the one I posted a video about playing at his house, and this moment in my life is really just solidifying my love and need for music. That’s why yesterday’s post was a bit unusual as it wasn’t really me practicing something. I am going to end this posting everyday so I can focus more on some theory and applying it, you can check out last weeks review for a few more details, but I think this is gonna help a lot in the long run, and I’ll still be posting consistently on a weekly basis, and I’ll have some even cooler things I’ll be working on very soon. One thing that I really want to start working on more consistently is songwriting, and I feel that this is the perfect opportunity in my life to start, as there is much going on in my life to write about. I’m also gonna start journaling consistently so I can be more in tune with what I am thinking each day and to also have a time to write down ideas I have about songs that I don’t write down. I think when I reflect over it, it could inspire me at a later date. I really enjoyed this little challenge, and the framework behind why I decided to start this challenge in the first place has not left, just revamped into a better way I think. If I notice some negative affects of this, I may start to do this again, but my practice has definitely gotten more consistent. Thanks for everything and as always Happy Practicing!
