- What did we intend to accomplish (what was our strategy)? VSL and first draft, watch ads video and do homework - What did we do (how did we execute relative to our strategy)? VSL draft and worked on about page I woke up at 6 am and started working on the draft. Talked to Jason around 9. Then spend the rest of the day researching on Reddit. I got some good information about what a good example of the personal stylist service would look like and it is a bit overwhelming and intimidating. I listen to Alex's podcast and learn the story about the 365 days before the overnight cocky story success. that reminded me of Jason's story about working from 9 am to 1 am every day for 5 months straight when he opened the restaurant. I know I'm not working hard enough on the right thing but I also don't know what to do and how to fix that. I need to talk to more people - Why did it happen that way (why was there a difference between strategy and execution) I all but forgot about watching ad videos but there was a distinct moment when I decided to ride the inspiration train writing my about page instead of doing homework. Here I'm reminded inspiration is for amateurs, the rest of us just show up and get to work. - What will we do to adapt our strategy or refine our execution for a better outcome OR how do we There is an ideal day that I try to imitate. There was a day when I buckled down at the library and got all my homework done before 6 pm. I was nervous the whole time. I chase the clock and come up with ways to do everything I need to do faster or even skip steps to get to the end. It seems like that day I worked against all my bad habits and got it all done. How can I make that a new baseline? I need to break down what I did. I think my problem is that I don't really know how to do things. So on my way of making it up as I go, I wonder and get distracted. There is also a lack of destination. - Plan for tomorrow... I need to get my About page out before 10 am tomorrow
