Meditation thoughts
Hello, people! I joined a meditation session with Miss Karen before, and I had a series of thoughts that could possibly be relevant to your personal and spiritual journey. Feel free to read them! Himayin natin at baka may mga madiskubre pa tayo.
"On meeting the child, the dream, and the self"
1. Self sabotage and satisfaction.
There is so much correlation between your relationship with your guardian/s and your sense of purpose, lalo na if you grew up always driven to satisfy their desires. If you dislike them, there is an emotional pleasure of knowing that whatever they like, you do not follow. This made me ask myself: "how many decisions have been made that are discrete forms of self sabotage due to unresolved guardian-child relationships?"
2. Ethernal loops
If you look at your parents as children, you may find yourself in the shoes of your grandparents, and then realize that it is all but a loop.
Without the presence of natural and decision-powered change, the loop of guardian-to-child will rotate as it is infinitely.
I know that generational differences are wide and affected by multiple external factors, but to think that you are able to see them as children (if you joined today's sesh) with more kindness reveals so much of the cycles you were able to close, and those that you are about to. Isa isa lang naman ha! Maybe it's time to acknowledge the relationship changes you've done?
3. The endpoint
When I hear the word endpoint, I envision a journey of reaching a destination. I think it reveals so much depth (and feels) to the statement: "Nakauwi na 'ko." There is a possibility that our state of home and success are tied together, perceiving it like a Pinoy-style commuting, where the "home" is an endpoint of all efforts, of what we wish to achieve as leaders in thought, business, and other personal ventures.
Pauwi na ba ang lahat? San na kayo?
But what if your home is actually pieces of your dreams that you are able to touch in the present? What if we create a new way of perceiving that does not disregard what it is that we have right now that was just once a wish?
It does look like ang daming nangyare, because andaming nangyare! Kaya next time, sama kayo ha! All listed above will make more sense.
Salamat pala ulit kay Ms. Karen for the session!
Kayo ba, anong insights niyo sa mga naexperience niyong sessions with the coaches lalo na sa meditation? Wanna hear them!
