Are you safe and dry this stormy Thursday?
I am fine @everyone. I hope you are, too. And would love to share my thoughts with you this stormy Thursday here in Manila. I saw the whole of the Philippines flooded on my Facebook feed. My partner posted, "Grabe na talaga. Lulubog na ang Pinas." Translation: "OMG! The whole country is drowning." My friends are marking themselves safe while others are asking for prayers for their flooded cities. Last time there was a typhoon in the Philippines, I was planning to migrate. This time, I'm calm and I don't intend to leave anytime soon. I feel I'm doing what I can to help by launching One Daily with @Jaq Casaljay and our team of mentors. "Huh, what's the connection of a mental health & wellness platform to resolving the flooding problem?”, you might ask. You see, the macro problem is affected by the micro problem- and that is MANY OF US DON'T CARE. We DON'T CARE if our politicians are corrupt. We DON'T CARE that our plastic use contributes to the garbage problem that blocks drainage. We DON'T CARE if the capitalists exploit our natural resources. What if we start CARING? About the people we elect in power. About our personal carbon footprint that affects global warming. About the environment and the trees that's supposed to protect us at this time. THINGS WILL CHANGE. It will definitely not happen overnight but it will. If we can reach more and more people who are willing to take care of their mental health and wellness. This same people may just be the next politician who can inititate change. The next Greta Thunberg who will rally for global warming. Or the next person who will plant a tree that can break the storm's strong wind. There is HOPE. For me, each one of us have to start taking care of ourselves first. Then, it's easier to take care of each other. Then, nature. Then the whole planet. Any change we wish to see in the world, starts within. Let me know if you agree. Or not (it's okay). 😉 P.S. Some of you might find some of our classes and recordings LOCKED. Book a 30-min call here so we can unlock the features for you: https://calendly.com/oneholisticco/30min

At this moment, the rain here is in the Orange (according to NDRRMC) so I'll just hope me and my family won't get flooded.
Why are you here
Hi guys why are you here? What’s your intention? Let’s talk? 😀

@Karen Navarro it only screwed up on some occasions but it's going there.
Uh....
I know I shouldn't post something since I'm not some staff member or whatnot, but apparently there were two unsavory people in the Daily Download room. One is just being super sexual, another just took a dump, for a lack of a better term. Is Zoom hacked or....?

Where are you from? 😉
Taga-saan po kayo? Aside from online sessions, we’ll be holding a once a month onsite session- at least. Who knows, we can probably host our next face-to-face event in your city! 🥰

Joining The 7-Day Meditation Challenge? Click Here. Welcome to One Daily Community! We’re building a new Netflix but for your holistic health. That means it’s all about upgrading your mind, body, soul, and even wealth! The good part? It’s mostly led by Filipinos. Many Filipinos are suffering with their mental health due to isolation. Ibig sabihin – lagi silang nasa bahay, endless scrolling sa phone, at walang mapag-sabihan. In short, they don’t have a supportive community. But what if we can build a dream team of experts in mental health and wellness? I’m talking about 17+ experts that you can easily access through live group calls. That means, you can ask your questions, open up your emotions without fear of judgment. And let me guess? You’re here because you know the value of taking care of yourself, right? Hi, my name is Karen Navarro, and just like you, I needed something more. Let me tell you a story. 15 years ago, I lost everything. My savings, my dreams—nawala lahat. I trusted a mentor, apprenticed for two years, and invested in my first real estate deal. But one day, nag iba lahat. My mentor vanished, taking the rental income with her. I was left with nothing but frustration and deep sadness. In my lowest moment, I picked up a book that said, “If you turn to spirituality, everything will come back to you.” That’s when I started looking for something deeper. I walked around my neighborhood, hoping to find that ‘something.’ And then, I found it. A meditation center—simple, quiet, inviting. I joined a session, and just after one class, I felt lighter. So, I came back the next day. And the day after that. I was hooked. Fast forward 15 years, I’ve meditated religiously, even traveled to India 8 times to deepen my practice. Meditation saved me at my lowest point, And when the pandemic hit, while the world was panicking, I stayed calm. Pero hindi ko lang gustong maramdaman 'tong mag isa, gusto ko rin ma-share 'to sa iba. So, I started One Holistic Community with a few friends.

Hello po. My name is Abbi (not Abby. My name isn't a nickname.) from Sta Anna, Manila. I have been wanting to try meditation for a while but I have been distracted quite a lot. Reason? Inner peace due to anxieties about my future (I had no job at the moment and currently re-learning 3d animation), occasional regrets about myself and my past decisions, and my lingering past experiences in high school (I was bullied during my entire high school year.)
