Skool vs Discord
When I was planning the development of a community, I tried to put together a list of PROS and CONS for both platforms to make the right decision. I have always joined communities on Discord, and only in the last couple of months, I found out about Skool. After some thought, I realized that it depends on the target audience of the creator and also on the functionalities of the community. Discord: - Target audience: Younger people or tech-savvy, mainly males - Own voice and video channels (no need for Zoom) - More customizations - More possibilities to build unique functionalities - Takes more time to develop - Harder to navigate for members than Skool Skool: - Target audience: Everyone - Own video archive - Gamification - Own calendar - Easy to set up - Less customization - Fewer possibilities to build unique functionalities What do you think?
