Full Time Filmmaker Course Review
Overall, I was really pleased with this course and what I got out of it. Not only is there tons of information and modules across a variety of topics within all stages of filmmaking/video production, but they continuously are adding and updating to it. There were a few lessons where there were minor editing mistakes, and a few lessons that I didn't really find relevant to me personally.
Pros: Comes with access to discounts and deals, comes with access to an active community, very broad topics so no matter what you're trying to learn in videography or filmmaking thee's probably something for you. The courses teaches you more about how to approach the business of video production as well as the craft of it. Parker does a great job breaking down his approach to contracting, bidding, and just general business best practices
Cons: Because it's more broad, I found myself wanting to go deeper on certain subjects like editing, and this doesn't really offer in-depth lessons on specific software.
Takeaway: Overall, I can say this course is a great option for the beginner/intermediate videographer/filmmaker looking to broaden just about any aspect of their knowledge on how to run a video business, from the creative to the technical. Having the info condensed in this course saved me a lot of time finding the info elsewhere across youtube!
