Full Time Filmmaker Course Review
Overall, I was really pleased with this course and what I got out of it. Not only is there tons of information and modules across a variety of topics within all stages of filmmaking/video production, but they continuously are adding and updating to it. There were a few lessons where there were minor editing mistakes, and a few lessons that I didn't really find relevant to me personally. Pros: Comes with access to discounts and deals, comes with access to an active community, very broad topics so no matter what you're trying to learn in videography or filmmaking thee's probably something for you. The courses teaches you more about how to approach the business of video production as well as the craft of it. Parker does a great job breaking down his approach to contracting, bidding, and just general business best practices Cons: Because it's more broad, I found myself wanting to go deeper on certain subjects like editing, and this doesn't really offer in-depth lessons on specific software. Takeaway: Overall, I can say this course is a great option for the beginner/intermediate videographer/filmmaker looking to broaden just about any aspect of their knowledge on how to run a video business, from the creative to the technical. Having the info condensed in this course saved me a lot of time finding the info elsewhere across youtube!

Kolder Creative Filmmaking Course Review
I took Sam Kolder's Course on filmmaking! Overall I thought it was a great course for learning DAVINCI RESOLVE, PREMIERE PRO, & AFTER EFFECTS! General Thoughts I learned a lot of great transitions and how he does his transitions in After Effects. First thought - I think it is more of a specialty course, since it focuses on the post production more than the pre production and production part of filmmaking. I mostly bought the course to learn Davinci Resolve. He took me through his whole post production process. He goes step by step through Davinci and dives deep into what each tab does. He gives you his raw footage that he uses in his course so you can follow along with him which I liked a lot. He also gives you business lessons, how he finds clients, how to pitch the clients, how to price your videos, and more. He gives you a lot of little video lessons on other things as well, FPV, Technicalities (Shutter speed, Frame Rate, etc..), and more. But He doesn't spend as much time on these things as he does on Davinci, Premiere Pro and After Effects. He has two different prices for what you can unlock. I bought the all inclusive, so if you want access to everything then it is going to cost a bit more. The cheaper price just gets you the Davinci Resolve Course I believe. I think what I learned was worth the price, just the coloring lessons was worth the money because I was terrible at coloring in Davinci. Pros - He gives you his raw footage to use to follow his lessons - Dives deep into programs such as Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects - He has downloads, discounts, possibility to work with him - Has a huge community that you have access too - Does Student Feedback Sessions - Gives you great insights on how to get in touch with the right people for potential clients - He goes through Each Tab you would use in Davinci in order to make a film. - The lessons are easy to understand and follow along - It is engaging - The pace is good - The quality of the videos are amazing like you would expect - Teaches you great transitions and tracking techniques - Lifetime access
