Deeivya Meir was the voice actress that stood out to me in the Audio Drama “Watchers In The Rain” Watchers In The Rain is a 40k Warhammer short Horror story written by Alec Worley, that actually inspired me to create Audio Dramas of my own. It was Deeivya Meirs work that specifically that got me excited for the audio drama, her portrayal and masterful execution was exactly what Inspired me to Write How To Destroy An Angel an Audio Drama I plan on releasing in October with the other Audio dramas Im releasing. However, a simple search on the voice actors who played in watcher in the rain led me to Deeivya Meirs IMDb, well her contact information wasn’t on the page, but I did notice In Google Searches she had an instagram account. To my surprise she had less than 1k followers, which surprised me. How was someone this talented not well known? So I reached out to her Via Dm to have a paid consulting call with her, and she accepted after a little back and forth. After speaking with Deeivya Meir for over an hour I came to the realization #1 I didn’t realize she was the producer for the largest podcast in all of the UK and she was interested in my work. #2 Simply reaching out and asking for advice via consulting gave me the opportunity to meet someone who’s talent I admire and gave me the opportunity to work with her. #3 creating a specific piece of work for Deeivya Meir specifically helped me offer the idea of a collaboration with an unknown, this is the audio drama that I spoke on earlier, “How To Destroy Angels.” You see, I see the talent she possess and realize she isn’t as big as she should be, but she has the credits to become huge! So in a move to add value to both of our careers I’m creating a very intricate piece for her that would not only be fun to listen to as an audience member, but also would give the impression of how amazing of an actress she truly is.
