Hi, I just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself. I live up in the Pacific Northwest and have been reselling part time for almost 3 years now. My main goals are to get better at sourcing items with $20 or more profit and finding the best way to stay up-to-date on keywords to help items sell faster. I listed my first two items this week. Some selvedge jeans and a women’s corduroy Ralph Lauren blazer. I sold the blazer. 🎉 But disclaimer - I had free shipping, promoted at 14%, and dropped the price to $25. My cut was like $9. 😂 I just wanted to sell something and see how the whole process worked. In the meantime, I listed all my Judy Blues on my local moms sale fb pages and sold them all within an hour. I’m sure I could make like twice as much if I waited around on eBay but I’m not sure I have the patience for it. Also, it takes me about 10 minutes to photograph a whole pile to sell local and about 15 minutes per item on eBay. Haha. The whole process of learning what y’all do has really given me such an appreciation for the hard work that goes into it! I found a love for digging through the bins and shopping at local charity shops. I think I may be heading toward using my finds to create Upcycled things and just keep selling locally as well. It’s all just for me to make some spending money. But I love this group and I love to see and hear about everyone’s success! Y’all are rockstars and I just wanted to say I have such an appreciation for everything that goes into making this kind of business a success! There’s so many ways to do it and I love Beau’s willingness to be a positive leader for us and provide such a valuable resource! Anyways, just wanted to share!
