How valuable is research if it isn't submitted to science fair?

Hi! Here's another post about me stressing about my life 😅

I've been working on a Personal Project for one of my classes at school, and it's taking up most of my time. I want to do research as well, but I don't have an idea yet. If I compete in my regional competition my abstract would need to be submitted in February. So, how valuable would my research be if it isn't submitted to a science fair?

Also, I'm pretty passionate about biomed sciences, but I don't have access to a lab. What are some examples of research in that field without the use of a lab?
