I did exactly that.
I played around with doing the least I could do to hold on to my muscle and wasn't too fussed if I lost some.
It turned out, it was well enough to keep it.
FULL BODY WORKOUT 1-2x PER WEEK 👇
In no particular order (dependant on how I feel & what's available)
Seated Calf Raises 2x 8-12 reps
Lying Leg Curls 2x 8-12 reps
Leg Press Pre Exhaust 2x 8-12 reps (Superset with👇)
Full Knee Bend Hack Squat 2x 8-12 reps
Seated Incline DB Curls 2x 8-12 reps
Overhead EZ Bar Tricep Extension 2x 8-12 reps
Semi-Close Grip Barbell Bench Press 2x 8-12 reps
Shoulder Width (or closer) Lat Pulldowns 2x 8-12 reps
Cable Rear Delt Row 2x 8-12 reps (each side)
Weighted Decline Sit Ups 2x 8-12 reps
Towards the end of the summer, I was only doing ONE set per muscle!
I chose the best exercise I could get access to in my gym and went to town.
With good technique, execution, slow + controlled tempo, full deep ROM, this was well enough.
I've constantly tested how little I can get away with and I'm continually shocked..
The 2 hour workout days, daily, minimal rest days are GONE
