Drill Description:
  • Booms, dips and strong follow through
Drill Scoring Method:
-How will you keep score in this drill utilizing gamification principles?
  • 1 point per make alternating sides
Athlete Debrief
-3 things to continue to improve upon:
  1. My follow through
  2. Getting my elbow up higher
  3. Better tilt
-3 things you (personally) thought you did well
  1. Rotation on the ball
  2. Dip was better
  3. My form was good until I move out to 3 point shooting
Coach Debrief
-3 things to continue to improve upon as a coach:
  1. Upon review of the film, I believe I may instruct too much.
  2. To blend instruction into gamifying.
  3. Integrate instruction with balance and space for athlete to self reflect without comment.

  1. Focused on “stacked” position
  2. Emphasis on height or arc of shot.  Higher, not harder.
  3. Encouragement and motivation with athletes approach
