Workout debrief for Kai Workout 3.
3 things athlete thought they did well:
- Keeping elbow aligned
- Loaded Wrist
- Good release even with heavy body twisting (during drill)
3 things athlete could do better:
- One motion/Rhythm
- Generating power/jumping all the way through
- Fading out of the shot
3 things coach did well:
- Let the reps continue to breathe
- Kept explanations to the point and focused on work
- Layered in where we have been with things and where we are going
3 thing coach could do better
- Be more familiar with the exercise before presenting it to an athlete (I needed to either watch more or try out the punch turns myself to explain them better)
- Continue to guide the athlete using guided questioning rather than just open ended questions
- Know the angles of the camera better. I missed some of the shots because the camera set up wasn't great.
