Google recently did a live demo of their ChatGPT alternative and although it looked cool there was a bit of a mishap… Bard, the name of Googles ai, answered a question wrong during the live demo. This lead to a lot of investors selling off stock and presumably buying up Microsft stock to back Bing and ChatGPT. Although Google took a hit here I think they have so much more data than Microsoft and will be able to make huge advancements in the future.
