Tonight's Discussion Topic: Building Recognition
Tonight we will discuss a few top performing creators and notice how each of them branded themselves in a specific way to reach their following, and successes that they have. @doug_townson - “Come Holler” - Reacts to clickbait hook, sells the car @deendoes - Uses his voice to brand himself - Recycles satirical quotes - Same font every time @higherupwellness - Always wearing glasses - Frames his face the exact same way in every clip - Same font, same captions @shreddedsages - Always shirtless - Talks with the same tone in every clip - Always reviewing a product to explain how bad it is for you - Always speaks as if it’s conversational (talking to the camera man) @alexathanacio - Always starts his videos from a side profile of his face - Generally does skits, and plays all parts male or female @thehairyhare - Excellent example of branding/recognizability - he recently started adding new reactions but he hit 1M using the same 2 clips - Always reacting to a cringe clickbait clip - He is the most simple example I have ever seen. He only recorded 2 clips ever to hit 1M. Same clips. - Every video he uses the same 2 recordings to react to the video: “hwhat” “What in the actual fu-“ @cadenmcdonald - Built his brand as the “Toothless Cowboy” - Generally this guy is either reacting to a clip, or hopping on a trend, but he built his following/recognition because he is missing his front tooth. He made that his brand. People recognized him because of it.  @DukeGomez7 - 9/10 times he is reacting to a cringe clip in his car.  His accent helps with branding and recognition as well.  - Ended up branding himself as a masculine character, and now sells merch and has met tons of huge celebs. @cornbreadcowboi - This guy actually follows me and has a similar brand. - Notice how he walks in slow motion, always wears a hat that’s 3 sizes too big, and a shirt that’s 3 sizes too small.  - Generally he’s hopping on a trend, or getting out of his car in all of his clips.

How to Get More Viral Views I am telling Everyone
1. HOOKS
Not sure what a hook is? It's text on screen to catch your viewers attention and keep them watching! People are naturally curious and their attention span on this app is under 3 seconds. A good and strong hook to catch their attention will leave them curious and keep them watching!
A couple examples are:
#If you're struggling to (problem) than you need to (solution) People keep asking how I (grew followers so fast, made X amount of money, pruned my plants, made my car so fast, etc) and here's how.... Ever catch yourself doing (something popular in your niche thats frowned upon, something wrong)? here's how to fix it. 2) AUTHENTICITY You heard me taking about this one quite often and it's got a good reason!! It's so important to stand out amongst the crowd of businesses on this app. If you look like everyone else people will scroll right past. Be authentic and show your personality and people will view/follow because of YOU! 3) TRENDING AUDIOS This one may be controversial for some people, but I have found success with it myself. Trending audios are something the algorithm will reward your videos for and push them to more people. Reach usually spikes with a trending audio as well. 4) DONT BE SALESY Don't just try and make a quick buck off of people. Create valuable content and SERVE your audience. Not only try and reach new people but also create content for the audience you already have as well. 5) VALUE PACKED CAPTIONS/CONTENT Like previously said in #4, serve your audience!! Sure a flashy hook got their attention, but you need to back that hook up with valuable captions. Captions start conversation in your comments. People comment opinions and testimonials. It's also where you pitch your sale and gain customers. Most people struggle with this part. But once you KNOW it becomes so much easier! It's a skill that needs to be learned for sure.

Social Trends Update! 4/8
Tik Tok has come out with a new way to find trends! Type in "Creator Serch Insights" Watch this video underneath but it is a pretty cool new feature definitely try it out! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLAPTfBH/ Instagram Users! Hoziers new Song "Too Sweet" Is growing very fast as a trend. Look to use this song this week before it gets too saturated. https://www.instagram.com/reels/audio/916441926606296?igsh=dWpvdzExejVjMmE0 NEWS ALERTS!! 📰 With the looming Tok Tok ban what actually could happen if it is banned. Well its crazy but then for the foreseeable future it will be Meta vs X. I would think that another platform would rise similar to Tik tok but US-based. But for now I am betting that Tik tok doesnt go away. Coming from a business standpoint if US bans it then it will be banned in 2 of the biggest economies in the world in the United States and India so more countries would follow which would cause the company to loose lots of money. I am guessing they sell to someone before they get banned. Threads may be the next move 👀 Lars has been testing out threads and it has given him alot of traction. Especially in the next year or so you will have a battle between X and Threads similar to how Instagram began to push reels to go against tik tok. But the proof is in the numbers. If you want a wide open playing field start designating some time to getting on threads and understanding the platform. It could pay some major dividends in the next few months.
