Been Absent
I have Raynaud in my index and middle fingers only. Just recently my right thumb is starting to show the same signs as the two fingers mentioned above. The nail acts up on the thumb when i put white stuff into my body and makes it ache and hurt like the nail wants to escape from the finger. Yesterday they announced after church that there was going to be "I. C." available in cultural hall for everyone. I stuck my head in doorway only to see if my hubby was there - he was. But didn't want to see the stuff they were giving out. Then i walked down hallway and said out loud NO Sugar for me, some were eating this stuff in hallway, but all I could think about was my thumb. Then someone behind me said - What did she say? Then someone told her and she yelled and gave me the thumbs up and she was not participation either. I was surprised to find someone else that is quitting too. So this is my story and i am sticking to it.

Saying no when it is hard
I had to say it out loud but that seemed to work. I said, "I am not going to eat that" and I didn't!! There were witnesses and I felt like if I said it out loud I would be held more accountable. It worked for me in that moment.

Day 3
Got up early and feel great. Excited to eat nutritiously today. I made sure I have plans every day after dinner. Either walking, or non food shopping, or going to church. After dinner is when I struggle so this has been a great help to me. Reminding myself to take it one day at a time.

Day 3
Very odd
Good morning Very odd not eating something after dinner. Asking myself am I hungry? What do I need? I felt tired so I went to bed. Another day done in detox.
