My name is Shadd Matthews, In 2008 I walked across the graduation stage on my very last day of high school with absolutely no direction or plan. Just a few days after walking across that stage (somehow) I was offered a job by my uncle who was a superintendent for a large scale CIPP contractor known as Spiniello Companies and the journey began. I spent some time working for Spiniello Companies and learning the Large Diameter Cured In Place Pipe Rehabilitation Industry before jumping ship to work for other companies who were focused on smaller diameter (8 inch - 15 inch )municipal contracts. The companies focusing on smaller diameters allowed for more home time and as an 18 year old kid, that was important to me. Over the years, I worked with majority of the corporate CIPP contractors such as; Spiniello Companies, IPR (Inland Pipe Rehabilitation), SAK Construction, Jet Jack and a few other smaller operations and held all positions from laborer to project manager. Around the end of 2015 the beginning of 2106 I left my position as an employee and went on a journey to start my own residential cipp lining company, I had 0 knowledge of residential plumbing systems or drain cleaning. I quickly learned that in order to start from scratch I was going to have to start servicing clogged and defective drains and sewers. I originally started with a business partner under the name, that lasted a few weeks and lead me to going off on my own. I derailed for a few months and went off as an independent consultant to train large companies on how to be more efficient with lateral reinstatements before returning back to the mission at building a drain cleaning company. Fast Forward to today: I have spent the last 7 years MASTERING the art of Drain Cleaning and Residential CIPP lining.
